How to Register for MyMedicare
Step 1:
Log in to your Medicare Online Account at my.gov.au
Log in or create an account if you don’t have one
Link your Medicare account (if not already linked)
Once logged in, click on “Medicare” to access your Medicare Online Account
From there, register for MyMedicare under the available services
Alternatively, you can use the Express Plus Medicare mobile app:
Download via the App Store or Google Play
Step 2:
Option 1:
In your Medicare Online Account or the Express Plus Medicare app
→ Search for your practice
→ Complete registration (your practice will accept it)
Option 2:
Ask your GP practice to start the registration for you
→ You’ll get a prompt in your Medicare account or app to confirm
Option 3:
Fill out registration form at your practice
→ Sign and hand it in
→ They will complete it in the MyMedicare system
